Mayfield Youth Soccer Camp
Monday - Thursday, June 15th - 18th, 6:00pm through 8:00pm

The English Soccer Academy Summer Camp program has been developed to provide a dynamic soccer-learning environment for players 8-14. Daily two-hour training sessions are designed to allow every camp athlete to improve specific technical skills. The individual technical camp focuses on a specific skill topic each day – dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, heading and tackling are given in-depth training throughout the week.

The team technical camp allows an entire team to receive the same level of high intensity training with specific areas of emphasis determined by the team coach and the English Soccer Academy Director of Coaching. Following the camp, a season-long training plan can be put into place.

Group ticket prices:
Adult: $7.50 (reg. price $15)
Under 15: $6.00 (reg. price $12)

Tickets can be purchased at Travel Tryouts at the Library Fields on June 1 and 2 (checks or cash only) or by contacting Coach Gordon at: u11b@mayfieldsoccer.com (Include name and contact information in your email along with the number of adult and youth tickets you require. Deadline for ticket purchases is 6/15/09)

If the Club purchases at least:

20 tickets, we receive the discounted ticket price.
30 tickets, players will be invited onto the field to participate in pre-game ceremonies!
50 tickets, a coach or player from the Stars will address the Club 1 hr. prior to the game to discuss strategy and give us special insight into their game plan for the night!

Travel Soccer Players: Wear your travel uniform to the game to participate in pregame ceremonies!

Directions to stadium:
Take I-271 South towards Columbus
Take the ROCKSIDE RD exit, EXIT 26
Take the ROCKSIDE RD ramp
At end of ramp, turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ROCKSIDE RD (Heading West)
Travel 1.0 miles, then at light, turn LEFT onto NORTHFIELD RD/OH-8 South
Travel 0.3 miles, then turn LEFT into parking for Middlefield Cheese Stadium at Bearcat Stadium

Changing of the Guard

At the end of the Spring season, Mayfield Soccer Club will have a change at a few positions. After many years of tireless effort, John Bondra, Recreation League director and Herb Kramer, Treasurer will be leaving us. John will be directing the Highland Hts Baseball League as their Commissioner. Herb has done a wonderful job in a truly thankless position and will be moving on to other pursuits. The Club has benefited greatly due to the efforts of these gentlemen over the years. They have our thanks and best wishes.
