Applicants must be enrolled in at least sixth grade, understand the game and ideally have five or more years of playing experience.

Who can apply
Professional responsibility
Referees must arrive on time, be ready to work and communicate promptly and professionally with the league commissioner.
Player connection
Current and former Mayfield Soccer Club players are preferred, although exceptions may be considered.
Independent communication
Parents may help with onboarding, but referees must communicate directly with the league after they begin working.
How it works
Send an introduction
Email a short introduction, soccer background and a little about yourself.
Complete onboarding
Qualified applicants receive instructions for training, required coursework and scheduling.
Choose games
Use the scheduling tool to select available games. It tracks hours for payment at least twice each season by mail.
Equipment provided
The club provides each referee with a shirt and whistle, plus a watch when needed.
